FAQs

1. How does PRP therapy work? 

Blood is carefully and safely extracted, after which it is spun in a centrifuge, to isolate the platelets, which possess the healing properties needed to reinvigorate your skin. These platelets are then re-injected back into the skin.

3-6 treatments are needed at 4 week intervals for optimal results.

The length of time the results last is dependent on your unique metabolism and lifestyle. You can expect the results to last on average between 9-18 months.

2. Is there any recovery time involved?

Some redness and swelling may occur at the sites where the platelets have been re-administered. However, this will not impact your day-to-day life in the days after treatment. You can get back to your normal routine right away.

We will be able to determine when PRP is not appropriate and suggest alternative treatments of means for improving the quality of your skin.

Wow! What can I say, I’m over the moon with my smile makeover with Dr Nora. Iv been with Nora for a little while now and had a Damon brace to correct my wonky teeth, I always knew I wanted to finish off with cosmetic bonding just to polish off my smile 😃 and today was the day. I’ve always been conscious about my teeth and have wanted some treatment & advice asto how to look after them better & improve their appearance.Dr Nora was absolutely amazing. Dr Nora is so passionate about what she does and you can tell! She’s very skilled and was so patient with me. The clinic is gorgeous! I honestly cannot believe the transformation of my smile I’m so happy. From the initial consultation to now finally having a beautiful smile, I can truly say it has been an amazing experience and one of the best life decisions I have ever made. **Best Composit Bonding In Leicester**I saw Dr Nora for a consultation for my teeth, I was not happy with some as my teeth as they were back and not straight. I had composite bonding done at the practice. I was very happy with my results and cannot stop smiling. The staff are so welcoming and professional and the practice smelt amazing.
